Most of the sulfur in coal gas exists in the form of H2S, which is converted into SO3 after the coal gas is burned. Excessive SO3 content in the air will form local acid rain, endangering people's living environment. my country stipulates that the maximum emission concentration of SO3 for the combustion of generator gas is 900mg/m3; on the other hand, SO3 has a great impact on the quality of the final products in industries such as ceramics and kaolin. Coal gas desulfurization method
The sulfur in the generator gas comes from the coal used for gasification, mainly in the form of H,S. About 80% of the sulfur in the coal used for gasification is converted into H,S and enters the coal gas. If the sulfur content of the coal used for gasification is 1%, the H,S formed in the coal gas after gasification is about 2-3g/Nm?, and the sulfur content of coal gas required by industries such as ceramics and kaolin is 20-50mg/Nm'; if the H'S in the coal gas is completely converted into S0, it is about 2.6g/m3, which is much higher than the high emission concentration index of S0, stipulated by the state. Therefore, whether from the perspective of environmental protection emission standards or from the perspective of ensuring the quality of enterprise products, this part of H2S in the coal gas needs to be removed.
